So.....

I gave my presentation, I asked for feedback, than I disappeared for a week in the sun.

I returned to find I'd topped 1500 hits on my blog, I got a couple of comments about the presentation, and I got a few really nice, positive emails about the presentation I gave.

Oh, and I got my results on the day I returned.........I now hold a Bsc in Computing!

Well done me!!

I got my degree, and now I have a whole load of free time in which to up-date my blog and get my website started.

juat remember when presenting, a short skirt and low cut blouse will keep all males in the room awake.;-) just ask the goddess.;) [ oh lord, i am in so much trouble now.]

I think as far as the Gddess was oncerned, it wasn't so much the short skirt as the reference to 'suspenders'.

The Eglish and the Aericans are separated by a common language.

not for nothing... never did the low-cut blouse thing....

and the suspenders reference wouldn't have been nearly as good a joke on me if I hadn't been wearing a short skirt at the time!

Congrats on the degree - is something I'm thinking about doing myself (most likely will be through the OU) but am also in the process of studying for OCP and trying to force myself into a DBA position...

Glad the presentation went well too :-)

Cheers,

Ian

Congratulations!

Not sure what subjects you took but if you were like me, I took everything (AI, Ops Research, Digital Design, Comp Graphics, etc) EXCEPT databases and I ended up working in databases ever since. :D

Congratulations on the degree.... in the ancient days when I was in college, there weren't many Comp Sci degrees, so mine was in Math and Physics. I never had all the computer theory courses. I've still managed to feed myself, though :-)
