Winter blues

I’ve been a bit quiet lately, mainly as I’m really busy getting to grips with XML Publisher, and I’m also trying to fight off a rather nasty cold that is threatening to ruin my upcoming birthday and weekend away. :-(

But enough of feeling sorry for myself!

I did cheer up slightly when someone pointed out the evidence that Doug Burns may have totally flipped.

Despite his continuing rants of ‘THIS IS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME’, it may be a case of protesting too much.
Make your own minds up by visiting the guys from the Cuddly Toy Forum.

On a more serious note, one thing I did want to share is that I received my feedback scores from my UKOUG presentation a week or so ago, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

My overall score was just slightly below the conference average, and all of the comments made were constructive, including the ones that commented on how nervous I seemed to be!
I’ve no idea why I got so nervous, I actually felt worse this time round than I did last year for my first ever presentation – obviously I just need more practise.

I’m off in search of more Lemsip now.
Hopefully I’ll be a bit more coherent next week and will be able to get a few posts up on the XML Publisher stuff I have been doing.

Think about it

1) It's Flatcat not Fat Cat. Do you think I'd make a mistake like that?

2) They obviously have a Postgres obsession, which I do not.

Oh, and if I understand correctly it's the Cuddly Toy *Front*

For goodness' sake, if you're going to cast doubts on my integrity, at least check your facts first!

Oh I know it's not you.
I have my own suspicions.

It was worth it to see you bite though.
