Keyword Fun

I use StatCounter to monitor visitors to my Blog, and I have recently been using it to analyse the search terms people are using to arrive here.

As I’m busy planning some future articles on BI and DW tools and some more beginners guides, I thought it would be useful to see what people are searching for to make sure I can provide it if possible.

Most of it is pretty standard stuff, people searching for ‘Oracle Newbie’ or ‘Oracle Beginner’ that sort of thing. Some even go as far as searching for ‘Everything I need to know about Oracle’.

I’ve also had quite a few hits from people searching for information and resources for the OCP exams including the rather ambitious ‘What all subjects does the OCA exam include’ and ‘Oracle OCA answers’.

Then there are the more random searches, some not even Oracle related, such as ‘Speed Awareness Workshop Northamptonshire’ or the ‘Make my afternoon’ search which both ended up here!

But the reason I felt I needed to share this, was going through the stats and discovering that on January 15th, this blog was the Number 1 result for the person who used Google to search for ‘sippy cup for a newbie’.

Laughing?
I'm speechless.
